Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

The Gods of War MMA Gym in Reading has choosen Help For Heroes as our Charity in order to help give back something to those who sacrifice so much to protect us.

Help For Heroes guarantee that for every £1 donated, £1.10 will go directly to helping wounded service men and women. They spend every penny possible on making grants that aim to provide practical, direct support for our wounded.

So when looking for the next fund raising event for the Charity the guys tried to think of the most embarrassing thing they could do that people would pay lots of money to see......

They are willing to swap their MMA shorts for white tights and their MMA gloves for pink tutus and taking part in a sponsored ballet lesson but only if they can raise a minimum of £50 each from friends and family who wouldn't want to miss this chance to see these otherwise manly men plie and pirouette with style in tights and tutus.

We are very gratful to Ballet Instructor Nicky for volunteering to take the class and for David Lloyd Fitness in Reading for allowing us to use their studio.

If you would like to sponsor one of the individual participants then please don't forget to add your name and their name in the message tab so we can pass on your generous gift.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - we raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Update!!  Phil is being interviewed on BBC Berkshires breakfast show 24th July and The Reading Post are covering the story.
