My story
Dear All
In May myself and Rob Beale will be going on a most magnificent adventure to Borneo
Starting with a trek through the jungle/rainforest we then climb Mount Kinabalu over 2 days, camping half way up the mountain overnight we get up at 2am to make it to the summit for 6am to see the sunrise over all of South East Asia… after the descent we hop on a bike for the next 3 days of hills and more hills for 8 hours a day as we cycle the Crocker Mountain range….no rest for the wicked as we then jump into water and spend the final day on the Padras river.
Our chosen charity is Streetgames, for every £50 we can raise some underprivileged kids will have the chance to go to the Olympics so we think that’s kinda cool
PS- neither Rob or myself like bugs that much so the jungle and rainforest bit wont be much fun…nor will 3 days on a bike where we have instructions to bring our own toilet paper and use nature…gulp
Lastly- we have funded this trip ourselves and we want to do it so anything you give goes straight to streetgames so any pennies you could spare will be great.

We believe in sport as a vehicle for social change and in helping young people to be the best they can be. We’ve developed a network over 100 community projects that deliver sport to the doorsteps of young people throughout England & Wales. These projects have generated around 1million attendances. But we want to do more. With your help, we can ensure more young people get the access to sport they deserve.
