Would you like to see me smile? So would my Mummy and Daddy! Hi my name is Noah and I have Moebius Syndrome. Among other things, this condition means I do not have any nerve or muscle function in my face and therefore cannot smile. If I could I would be smiling all the time since I am such a happy baby and my mummy is very funny! To date we do not really know why I have this condition and as it is so rare doctors do not know enough about it to tell us how or why it has happened. This is why my mummy and daddy (and some other very special people who care about me) have begun the Mobilise for Moebius campaign to raise enough money for the Moebius Research Trust to conduct a genetic research programme to find out if we can locate a cause and perhaps oneday unlock a cure. In order to carry out the research we need to raise £250,000 and have 100 Moebius candidates. However, this condition (being so rare) means it is difficult to find enough people affected by by the condition to either take part or to help raise the money. This is why we need your help, by making a contribution to our cause you will be raising the awareness of this very rare condition and hopefully getting one step closer to putting a very big smile on my face.
