This December, i'll be walking 80km across war-torn Iraq for three days (from Najaf to Karbala). I will be walking in the daytime with the scorching desert sun bearing down upon me and in the evenings will rest in makeshift tents, when the blistering cold takes over and temperatures rapidly plummet.
