We are urgently trying to raise funds to rescue Abu, a young  male barbary macaque. He is only two years old and he was being kept as a pet in Northern Spain. He was confiscated by Spanish authorities near Barcelona and he is currently living alone in a dog kennel until a solution can be found for him. He is very traumatized and stressed and he constantly bites himself. It is very important that we move him to the sanctuary as soon as possible and get him introduced to our family of barbary macaques.

We need to raise a total of £1700 to cover transport and vet costs. Please help us today so that we can give Abu the new life that he deserves.
