UPDATE: After 3 long days, we completed our journey from Ilfracombe to Plymouth last night! It was absolutely brilliant but the hardest thing ever! After a couple wrong turns we cycled in total 123.4 miles, so if you think this is worth a couple of quid please donate anything you can!
Lots of love xxx
Hi! Thanks for taking a look (:
My friends and I are planning to cycle an epic 102mile route from North to South Devon (Ilfracombe to Plymouth) over a few days (Fri 2nd July - Mon 5th 2010) for fun and to raise money for a great cause. Please help by sponsoring us. All donations are greatly appreciated.
Some of you may know I sadly lost my little kitty Woody and so I have chosen Cats Protection as my charity of choice. Money donated will help the charity rescue and care for unwanted and neglected kitties, but just to keep you informed here are some fun facts:
* The cats protection have over 7,000 cats and kittens in our care at any time.
* It can cost £15 a month to feed each kitty in their care.
* There are more than 500 million domestic cats in the world, with 33 different breeds.
* A single pair of cats and their kittens can produce as many as 420,000 kittens in just 7 years.
* Male cat owners are more successful than their cat-less male counterparts.
* A cat will amost never "meow" at another cat. This sound is reserved for humans.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please spare anything you can and donate now!
Much love and thanks so much!
Leanne
