The Mongolia Charity Rally is a pan-continental drive across five mountain ranges, two deserts and more barren and inhospitable lands than you care to shake a gear-stick at.

On 19 July 2008 Team Steppe On It will set forth from Sheffield  to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia’s Capital. Taking a route through 13 countries including Poland, Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Mongolia. Shadowing the Silk Road & following in the footsteps of Genghis Khan.

10,000 miles of pot-holes, bandits and dodgy suspension…...Oh, and it’s all for charity.

Undertaking this intrepid challenge are James Tissington, Peter Williams & Peter Tissington. Armed only with passports, visa's, pigeon senses  & a worrying lack of mechanical knowledge.
