Our children in this country are privileged.  They are privileged to be so loved and cared for and to start their lives with such a solid foundation.    And of course many are privileged to have come to our nursery!

Millions of children all over the world are not so lucky.  We can not help all of them but we can make a difference to some of them.  The Haller Foundation in Mombassa is committed to setting up a school for 3 to 7 year olds.  Not only will this mean that the children will have the opportunity of an education but it will also enable their parents to work.  Despite much of the land in that part of Africa being barren the Foundation educates adults to work the land efficiently so as to enable self sufficiency and even to allow a modest profit from the sale of produce.  Do visit their website to find out more:  www.haller.org.uk

As part of celebrating our 20th anniversary as a day nursery we have set up this fund to help these families in Mombassa.  I  hope you will agree that the Haller Foundation is a worthwhile cause and will want to make a difference to childrens' lives in Africa.
