This summer a group of us will be undertaking the gruelling Three Peaks Challenge. For those of you whom may not know what this is by no way easy challenge is...We will be aiming to climb the three highest peaks in the home countries, starting with the tallest of all, Scotland’s daunting Ben Nevis at 1,344m high, followed by England’s rocky Scafell Pike at 978m and finally a relaxed home stretch on Wales' chilly Snowdon at 1,085m, covering approximately 3,000 vertical meters and 26 miles...that's if we don't get lost...all within 24 hours!!
This challenge will not only be demanding physically but will also require a level of team work, mountaineering skills and determination.
Over the next few months, we will be working on all the skills we require to get ourselves ready for the challenge and with your help, raising money for a charity that helps countless families across the country. So please aid our determination and if you can, show your support by sponsoring us. Any donation you can give, big or small, will be greatly appreciated!
So here is the important bit!
We have chosen Home-Start as our charity for the challenge.

Through a network of more than 16,000 trained parent volunteers, Home-Start supports thousands of parents who are struggling to cope, providing help and support to families for many reasons including post-natal depression, the illness of a parent or child, disability, bereavement or social isolation.
Parents supporting other parents: it's a simple idea that really works.
Every penny you give will go to this wonderful charity and help those who need just that little bit extra help!
Finally…If you do donate and are a taxpayer, please make sure you tick the Gift Aid box. This will allow a further 28% from the government to be added to your donation making it all go a bit further!
So please dig deep and donate now.
Thanks for your support!
