Maggie's Monster Bike & Hike 2010 · 1 May 2010 ·

Maggie’s Centres are warm and welcoming places built alongside NHS hospitals that provide the support that people with cancer and their family and friends need. www.maggiescentres.org

Story

Well, well, well!!!  That was tough!!!  Even tougher than we remembered it being last time.........but we conquered!!!!  30 miles by bike and 43 miles walking completed in just over 20 hours placing us in the top 200 out of the near 1,000 entrants.  We are all broken men but are delighted to have raised so much money for such a worthwhile cause Maggies, which provides very important support to Scottish families who are coping with cancer.  A website link to Maggies is attached below for anyone who wants to know more:

We would like to take this chance to thank John Clark Motor Group for donating the team van to take us up to the event and also to thank our fantastic support team of Dee and Kash for all their help during the weekend.

We are still keen to raise as much money as we possibly can so please please dig deep into your pockets as our physical pain will be relieved by the more money we receive.  Any support you are able to give by way of a donation will be gratefully received. This is a simple method of donating, via a secure website and also allows the charity to claim additional tax relief. If you are not comfortable with on-line donation then we are happy to accept donations directly.

We are expecting a few comments, and the website does allow you the opportunity for this. If you can think of anyone else who you think might like to contribute please forward this e-mail on.

Thanks to you all for visiting our site and for your kind donations.
