My story

 

Hello and thank you for visiting our fundraising site for CLIC Sargent. Our Monster Challenge is detailed below:

What is it??

The First Monster 120km duathlon (www.firstmonster.co.uk) is a relay event for teams of four, the course consists of eight stages - four running and four cycling!! Craig, Ally, Nathan and Graham will each complete 2 stages of the course around Loch Ness and must complete it within 12 hours. Each stage of the course presents its own challenges and difficulties and each contender must complete their section before the next competitor can start. Determination, team work, commitment and physical strength are vital to our success.

When and where??

The Monster Challenge takes place on the 13th September 2008, starts in Inverness and follows the Great Glen Way along the north side of Loch Ness - 250 Teams of 4 mad people to run and cycle 120km around Loch Ness in one day!!

Who's in the team??

Craig, Nathan, Ally and Graham make the 'Monster PI Ness' team who have set themselves this challenge!!

Why are we so crazy.................well, it's for a very good cause:

Cancer in all its forms will, unfortunately, touch the lives of most people and support is needed continue the great work of many charities and individuals who are committed to making a difference. The PI Monster team have chosen 'CLIC Sargent' a national charity who support children and their families living with and fighting Cancer and Leukaemia.  

Our aim is to raise as much money as possible for CLIC Sargent (www.clicsargent.org.uk) .................................. so please help us reach our goal......£2500.00. With our effort and your contribution we will ensure that we are working towards children, parents and relatives having the support to help them through what is a very difficult time.

Your support is very important to us and is much appreciated.
