Story
Welcome to Golf Against Cancer: a month of madness on the M25!
During August 2011, I shall be playing my way around the M25, turning off at a different junction every day to play golf (there are 31 junctions). As featured in Today’s Golfer and Golf Monthly and supported by The Social Golfer where all the games are posted, the trip will raise money for Cancer Research UK. Most clubs have offered courtesy of the course which means that the charity gets maximun behefit from contributions.
There are 2 ways you can contribute: as a player or sponsor. If you want to play in the Month of Golf Against Cancer and are available any day in August 2011, go to thesocialgolfer.com and sign up for a game. It'll cost you the green fee you'd have paid anyway but all the money will go to CRUK. Alternatively, if you'd like to sponsor the event, just donate here through the site. Again all the money will go to the charity, none for expenses or anything.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - we raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now. - or come and join me on Golf Against Cancer 2011 via http://www.thesocialgolfer.com/Default.aspx
