Mission Marathon completed!

I finished the London Marathon in 4 hours 16 minutes after a gruelling and hot race through the capital dressed as a dolphin. Thanks to everybody for all the support so far; the dolphin was a little worse off than me when we crossed the finish line but what a great day.

There is still time to sponsor me and every pound will help protect the dolphins of Moray Firth!

One of my lingering memories of my own time in filming Monty Halls' Great Escape is the dolphin encounters I enjoyed over the course of a wonderful summer. Sadly, some of the UK's most loved animals, the bottlenose dolphins of the Moray Firth, are now under serious threat. This small and vulnerable group of dolphins face many dangers, including pollution, fishing, marine renewable energy and the potential oil and gas exploration inside a special sanctuary set up to protect them.
