Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page and for being so generous.  With the combined totals for Rebecca and Georgina's site we will have raised over £7k on that walk and are absolutely delighted and thrilled by your support.

The day was very special and we were very impressed with the organisation.  We had a fun warm up with the Green Goddess (in pink T shirt) and a rousing speech from Denise Lewis the Pentathlete.  The day was gloriously sunny, nay hot and what with the camaraderie and with the charming volunteers along the way we had a great time.  Denise and her supporters worked their way from the back of the walk to the front and chatted to all along the way.  Needless to say they got in well before anyone else but were then at the finish line mingling with the walkers and having photos taken. 

Whilst we walked the chaps and Jenny's other supporters had a picnic by the lake.    Ed said he had never had to talk so much and realised why girls were usually there on social occasions - to fill the air space.  It was a truly memorable event and, if anyone feels like doing it next year, we would do it all over again.
