Story
On Sunday 26th October 2008, the seven of us will be running in The
Great South Run, Portsmouth. We hope that by running 10 miles we get to raise as much money as possible for St. Marks Hospital. At the beginning of this year we lost a very dear friend to cancer. Dale was an
inspiration to us all and even took part in this event himself two years
ago. During his treatment, Dale attended the St. Mark's Hospital and
they played a huge role in trying to get him better. It for this reason
that we hope that you can help us to raise as much money as possible for such a worthy cause. We will of course have our "fan club" taking
pictures of us all during the event and which you will be able to see
soon after to give yourselves a good giggle! In case you're a little
confused about the team name Moody's Magnificent 7, Moody was Dale's self-given nickname. As he was always smiling it may have been somewhat ironic which probably also applies to us
7 being magnificent!!!
Many thanks for all your help and support.
