Aside from all the other stupid challenges I seem to end up doing every year, I thought I'd use Total Warrior on 4th August in the Lakes (described as "a brutal cross country run combined with a unbelievably challenging hard core assault course") as my ludicrous challenge this year to raise as much as I can for Prostate Cancer UK.

The scary factor is that 1 in 9 blokes will get prostate cancer and it kills 10,000 men in the UK every year.

There's no cure for it (yet!) but Prostate Cancer UK do a fantastic job of supporting people who are affected by this nasty, nasty disease, from the person who's suffering from it, to their extended family and friends.

I know three people now who've been affected by prostate trouble so this is my way of sticking two fingers up to it by supporting the one organisation in the UK that does a huge amount not only to support people, but also to try and find a cure.
