Breast Cancer Care - Ribbon Walk 2009 Petworth House & South Downs · 27 June 2009 ·
Friends, fans, felines - thank you so much for your support. Together, we've done it. And here's the photos. They prove that there's life after cancer - and lots of it!
20 miles, 7 hours, 46,000 steps, one pair of pink pyjamas, a tiara and a very well-travelled bum bag.
Together, we have raised £2,340 for Breast Cancer Care to date. (24 August). That's way beyond my rather modest original target of £500.
Thanks to your sponsorship, Breast Cancer Care can now train 4 volunteers to give immediate emotional support, advice and information to women newly diagnosed with cancer. Believe me, when you hear the words " I'm sorry to tell you it' s cancer", it' s a relief and a comfort to have Breast Cancer Care behind you every step of the way, from diagnosis to final discharge from hospital and for months afterwards.
It's been great to have YOU all behind me - what a support team!
Much love and many thanks - Morag
