Seven Ways to do The Severn Way for The Severn Hospice · 19 December 2012

Severn Hospice provides specialist care and emotional support for families in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Mid Wales living with an incurable illness. All our care is provided for free, but it is not without cost - we have to raise £2 for every £3 we spend. It's because you care that we can.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This year staff from Morris Lubricants will be traversing the longest riverside walk in Great Britain - The Severn Way.

This is a distance of approximately 214 miles from Plynlimon in Mid Wales to the Bristol Channel. We will be completing the course in 7 different ways. These will be by foot, canoe, horse, bicycle, raft, coracle and by swimming some of it!

Some staff will be travelling the whole course and some will complete sections of it for their own personal challenge. All will be raising funds for a very deserving local charity.

The Severn Hospice also run their own fund raising events throughout the year and part of our fund raising plan is to provide at least 2 participants or volunteers for each of these events.
