Raising money for University Of Glasgow Trust

Charity Registration No. SC008303

The University of Glasgow Trust is the main vehicle for philanthropic donations to the University of Glasgow. The Trustees are responsible for disbursement of grants from gifts made to University of Glasgow priority fundraising projects. These include; the Medical Fund, Chancellor's Fund, Scholarships Fund, Paul O'Gorman Leukaemia Research Centre, The Scottish Centre for Ecology and the Natural Environment (SCENE), the Small Animal Hospital Campaign and the Beatson Pebble Appeal. The Trust also receives and administers unrestricted gifts and bequests for the benefit of the University.

As many of you will know I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in March and received chemotherapy from the wonderful people at The Beatson Cancer Centre in Glasgow.To show my appreciation myself and a lot of my friends and family raised funds for The Beatson Pebble Foundation Appeal which is tryng to achieve £10 million to build a world class Cancer Research Centre in Glasgow.

After a mammoth 2011 I am on the mend and would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their generosity and support. Without everyone's kindness, best wishes and support I would not have made it through the year.
