Refuge opened the world’s first refuge in West London in 1971. We support thousands of women & children every day, experiencing domestic and sexual violence, female genital mutilation, forced marriage, stalking, trafficking, prostitution & so-called ‘honour’ based violence.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am super excited to be raising money for Refuge, the charity supporting women and child victims of domestic abuse. I will be working together with the other Pink Panthers to raise lots of money to support this great cause.

On the 6th of December I will be running a half marathon to contribute to my fundraising team's grand goal of running 160km in 16 hours in support of Refuge's 16 Days of Action to End Violence Against Women.

In a 16-day period, four women will be killed by a current or former partner; 432 women will attempt suicide as a result of domestic violence; and 8 women will take their own lives in order to escape domestic violence
