Earl Mountbatten Hospice - Walk the Wight · 18 May 2008 ·

Mountbatten is the Isle of Wight's only hospice and is known for innovation across the UK and beyond. We provide expert medical, nursing and domiciliary end of life care and bereavement support to people in their own homes, including care homes, in our Newport building and in the local hospital.

Story

MOUNTFORD Estate Agents successfully “Walked the Wight”

On Sunday 18th May, Mark Mountford, Principal of MOUNTFORD Estate Agents managed to complete a 26 and half mile trek across the Isle of Wight ( yes all the way ) starting at Bembridge airfield at 08:00 and ending at Alum Bay at 17:45 on behalf of The Mountbatten Hospice, Newport, Isle of Wight.

There were an estimated 10,000 people of all ages and abilities who turned out for the now famous "Walk The Wight" event for a very worthwhile cause, a record number of people I believe, so if you can dig deep and offer your financial support and possibly make this a record year for funds raised too.

Although the event has now past, there is still time to donate and show your support for the Earl Mountbatten Hospice.

Please dig deep and sponsor / donate online for this very worthy cause that is close to many peoples hearts here on the Isle of Wight.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure.  It is also the most efficient way to donate, sponsor & show support:  Earl Mountbatten Hospice will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor Mark Mountford now and show your support for The Earl Mountbatten Hospice!

Many thanks for your support.
