For a bit of a laugh and help with the charity raising Dacio, John, Patrick and I are going to bring Movember into the office and we urge all men to join us, and along the way raise as much money and awareness about male health issues as possible!! RULES: Fellow Mo Bros starts 1 November with a clean shaven face. Then, for the entire month of Movember grow and groom your moustache according to these rules: 01 There is to be no joining of the Mo to the side burns - that's a beard. 02 There is to be no joining of the handlebars - that's a goatee. 03 A small complimentary growth under the bottom lip is allowed (aka a tickler). 04 You must remain clean shaven apart from your Mo for the entire 30 days. But it's not all fun and games, so here is the reason we are doing this!! Men lack awareness about the very real health issues they face. There is an attitude that they have to be tough - "a real man" - and are reluctant to see a doctor about an illness or go for regular medical checks. The aim of Movember is to change this attitude, make men's health fun by putting the Mo back on the face of English men and in the process raise some serious funds for key male health issues. Every year about 35,000 men in the U.K. are diagnosed with prostate cancer and about 10,000 men die from of the disease. A British man has a 1 in 11 lifetime risk of developing prostate cancer . It is now the most common cancer diagnosed in men in the U.K. with at least one man dying every hour from the disease.
