Guy's Hospital Tower Abseil 2010 Day1 · 16 May 2010 ·

We support people with myasthenia and their families, increase public and medical awareness of the condition and raise funds for research and support staff. Our aim is to make life easier for people with myasthenia and their families by providing information, advice and support.

Story

Over the past 18months I have been working with Guy's and St.Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust and King's College London in setting up a Cellular Therapy Manufacturing Facility up on the 15th floor of Guy's Tower. Now I get the chance to throw myself out the window and abseil down the Tower's full height of 469ft. Apparently it's the tallest hospital in the world, who knew?

This is the last year that abseiling down Guy's tower will be possible as it is to be beautified at long last with a glass cladding, so please dig deep and support my first ever charity fundraising event!

Many thanks
