Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor someone: Northern Ireland Association for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation. 

I am helping to organise a couple of events to raise funds for branches of the Spina Bifida & Hydrocephalus Association in the north & south of Ireland. Any donations made here will be paid directly to the Northern Ireland branch.

The first event is a bike and trike rideout on Sunday 7th September leaving Belfast at 11.30 and going to a family fun day in Dundalk via the western shore of Lough Neagh. The family fun day event is a joint fundraiser for the MAS-F martial arts club in Dundalk - they have agreed to donate 50% of their funds raised through this event to the relevant branches of the Spina Bifida Association.

The second event is a hog roast which is organised in partnership with the Quay Vipers Snakebite Rally at Joey Dunlop's Bar in Ballymoney, Co. Antrim on Saturday 20th September.  This is one of the main bike rallies in the country and we will be spit-roasting a whole pig to feed the hungry bikers on Saturday morning.  We're hoping for an average donation of £5 per head.  A free bus will be provided to take people from the rally venue to the hog roast.
