Story
About MedEquip4Kids - http://www.medequip4kids.org.uk/about.asp - essentially they raise money to buy extra equipment to support children's units throughout the Manchester area. All money raised goes to specific projects and as a charity, they don't pay VAT which means they get more bang for their buck than the NHS does.
Recent projects include £46000 worth of specialist pediatric equipment for Trafford General's new children's unit and supplying £8000 for specialist cots for Warrington Hospital's neonatal ward.
About the walk - I'll be walking across 20 feet of wood embers burning at 1235 degrees Fahrenheit and (hopefully) emerging relatively unharmed. I'm a little nervous about it!
How you can help - sponsor me!
Also, if you have a business in the Manchester area and you sponsor me over £50 then you can get a mention and a link from the about us section of my website (http://www.dreamberry.co.uk/about.htm) for a couple of months.
