Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. On Saturday 26th September I am going to scale the dizzy heights of Barns Ness Lighthouse in Dunbar. If I make it up the 169 steps then the plan is to abseil down the 121ft lighthouse. And then head straight to The Rocks for a recuperative pint!

I'm going to do this to try and raise funds for local people affected by cancer. Macmillan Cancer Support exists to help improve the lives of people living with cancer and their families and carers. 1 in 3 of us will get cancer and Macmillan's primary goal for 2010 is to reach out and improve the lives of everyone living with cancer. I'd like to help them in whatever small way I can.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
