Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

In a moment of madness 4 of us decided to do this rally - Home to Rome - actually it's Calais to Rome - in 4 days rather than the historical Grand Tour of 4 years.  It's a banger rally and the car has to cost less than £100 - so a real banger!  I've chosen to raise money for the Lymphoedema Support Network as I use their literature on a daily basis.

If you would like to know more about the rally go to www.streetsafari.com and on events go to Home2Rome.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Lymphoedema Support Network gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!

Feeling less optimistic ,the garage service say the car is b..............,

we may need to last minute try and get another, so if you want a volvo for parts i am able to offer spare parts, if only lymphoedema was as easy to put right !!!!

Good news,

We have been donated a nissan sunny ,from a very generous gentleman in Bracknell- thankyou  very much.

The only essential repair is a speedo cable, otherwise its up and running and we think that has now been located via ebay.

Finally ,should any of you have any 'sopersoakers' for our dressing up day,I only require 4 and they wouldnt be coming back to England as Ryan Air would definately charge us for excess luggage-no surprise there!

We've now got a blog and we'll be posting on a daily basis throughout the trip.  Have a look on http://myblogontheroad.blogspot.com/ and send us a comment!
