In October 2013, after 3 years of fighting & 6 years of being ill, I was diagnosed with severe M.E. It is a debilitating illness which leaves me unable to lead a normal life. I am largely housebound, and when I do go outside I have to use a wheelchair. My symptoms include dizziness, exhaustion, insomnia, muscle pain, skin sensitivity, reduced immune system and other problems still undiagnosed including POTs, dysautomnia and gastric problems.

There is no cure, very little medical knowledge about the illness and diagnosis can take years. So along with my fellow princesses I am putting on my princess dress, tiara and anything else princessy I can find, and going to bed. I can't run a marathon, do a sponsored walk, swim or cycle, sleeping is all I am any good at anymore.
