Skanda Vale Hospice is a Day-Centre providing respite care, complementary therapies, practical and emotional support for people with a life-threatening illness. All our staff are trained volunteers and the service is completely free of charge. We are currently raising funds to expand our service to include an in-patient facility.

My story

Hi All,

Thanks for taking the time to visit our fundraising page.

The ‘Family Muldoon’ – (yes, Caroline & the kids are joining me this year in my fundraising efforts), are undertaking a 10 Mile sponsored walk along the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, on the 25th May. This is in aid of the Skanda Vale Hospice, near Carmarthen in Wales.

This hospice is a warm and homely place where anyone with a life threatening illness can come and experience wonderful physical, emotional and spiritual care, all completely free of charge. The hospice offers a service not just for the patient but also for their family. If you want to know more please do visit the Hospice site: http://www.skandavalehospice.org.
