Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running the Brighton Half Marathon to raise money for Chestnut Tree House, which is the children's hospice that Essie (one of our triplet daughters) goes to. Essie is severely disabled and has a lot of very complex health needs, which means she is unfortunately a life limited child.

Chestnut Tree House is invaluable in the help and support we have received so far and cannot fault them for the care they provide Essie. Without them our lives would not be as they are. Essie was born on 1 February 2016 and is the youngest baby that Chestnut Tree House currently looks after. Helping to raise as much money as possible would be an amazing first birthday present from Essie and our target reflects the amount needed to "Pay for a Day" at Chestnut Tree House on 19 April (the day Essie finally came home from hospital).

Words cannot thank them enough so hopefully I can raise some funds to help other families such as ours who have to deal with a life limited child.
