Mama Hallinan needed a new Lung and if it were not for the superb team at the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle it wouldn't have happened.  Getting a transplant is not an easy business and there are big waiting lists for people who need all sorts of organs in order to survive - they are desperate for more donors and cash for to buy fancy machines that keep people going till they get what they need.

The FHLTA were great in supporting the family and helping us and hundreds of others through a very difficult time. As such the Hallinans and Nelsons have been raising cash for them through an annual footy match since 2005
