On 4th September 2012 I will be setting off from John O'Groats to cycle the 952 miles to Lands End. I will be doing this unsupported and aim to achieve this in two weeks! I am doing this to raise money for a charity that means a lot to us.The Silver Star Unit at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford offers special care for mothers with medical complications in pregnancy.

We were fortunate enough to be under the care of Dr. Mackillop and the Silver Star team throughout Kate's pregnancy. Their exceptional care and support ensured Fraser Maclean arrived safely on 30th May 2011. We wanted to raise some money to help the work of this very special team as our way of saying thank you.
