Thanks to everyone who has made a donation towards my sponsored walk in aid of 'Help for Heroes'. It really is a worthy cause.

The day of the walk is almost here and we expect around 30 people to take part.

We'll leave Kirkliston at 9.30 and head over the bridge to Inverkeithing. After a short break, we'll walk back to Kirkliston and then get ready for a fund-raising social that same night in Kirkliston Bowling Club.

This looks like being a complete sell out and should raise even more funds.

I'm also pleased to be using 'JustGiving'. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
