On May 4th 2013 me and my housemates took part in Tough Mudder - a 12 mile assault course - and completed it in 3 hours and 33 minutes! 

Some of the obsticals we faced were the Arctic Enema (wading through an ice bath), the Electric Eel (crawling through a long pool while being electrocuted), Fire Walker (running over and around flaming haybails), Everest (getting to the top of a huge half pipe), the Mud Mile (running through muddy trenches and over muddy hills), and ElectroShock Therapy (running through a field of live wires carrying as much as 10,000 volts), amongst others!

After the event, we've all be hurting a lot, and have plenty of battle scars to show for it, but it was all worth it for a great day, and to raise money for an amazing charity who help deaf children develop the skills they need to communicate and keep up with their peers at school.
