My story
Dear friends,
Alex and I are taking part in this year's Mongolia Charity Rally. It's a charitable venture to deliver vehicles, funds and support to communities in need. We're very excited to make this happen and really need your help!
Our mission is to donate an ambulance by driving it all the way from London, and also to raise £3000 in JustGiving and PayPal donations to support the GoHelp charitable organisation in Ulan Baator which helps support and educate local children. We have a great vehicle donated by the London Ambulance Service and are taking part in a convoy with some of their paramedics, who will help share their expertise with the people of Ulan Bator once we deliver it successfully.
We'll be driving through half of Europe, Russia, Kazakhstan and finally Mongolia. It will be a long and taxing journey of about 4-5 weeks, but it will be worth it to donate the vehicle and the proceeds raised from this page to the local community.
Internet gods permitting, we'll be updating a live blog and Twitter feed as much as we can!
