My Grandma has been suffering for a few years now and is rapidly getting worse. It really breaks my heart to see. She has always been such an active, healthy person and the life and sole of every family gathering. I know she finds it hard that she can't do things for herself and us anymore. She loves being outside and going for walks and now she is restricted to her own home and garden unless we are there to take her out. The worst is seeing my grandpa having to deal with it, as I have never seen anyone love someone like he loves her. The whole of my family will be walking this day, please donate whatever you can to help fund the researchers in understanding the disease more and hopefully finding a treatment, to help fund the carers that put in so much hard work, to help get the word out to public to become more knowledgeable and know how to cope and care for a family member that maybe suffering.
