This year, we have decided as a family to do the Alzheimer’s Memory walk in hounour of Nan. Two years ago we lost her to Dementia, something that around 225,000 people develop every year – that's the equivalent to one person every three minutes. It’s something that causes you to grieve twice, for the person that they used to be and for when they pass. It is extremely tough for those living with Dementia and the families as they watch someone become completely altered and broken down by the disease. At the moment there is no cure, but the tireless work that Alzheimer’s do contributes to caring for those with the disease, their families included, and work towards finding that cure. We hope you can help us walk in memory of our Nan and donate whatever you can to help support us and the charity.
