Rhodes Family Memory Walk 2019

Belfast Memory Walk · 7 September 2019 ·
As a family we are taking part in this memory walk in memory of our parents/grandparents Our mum passed away on the 18th July this year, she suffered with Alzheimer’s for over 8 years. Our father passed away on the 25 June 2013 and he had vascular dementia in the final stages of his life. This charity lies close to our hearts as it does for many families here in Northern Ireland and the UK. It’s an awful illness and we want to help raise money to help raise awareness of this illness.
Around 225,000 people develop dementia every year, that's the equivalent to one person every three minutes. This September and October Memory Walks will be taking place across England, Wales and Northern Ireland to raise money for a world without dementia. Once you donate, JustGiving will send your money directly to Alzheimer's Society. So it's the most efficient way to raise money, saving time and cutting costs for the charity. Let's take on dementia together. Please dig deep and help us walk for a world without dementia.
