This site was first made for friends I had made through forum websites especially for the fantastic people on the babyexpert site, every donation on here is made by people I have never met or spoken to, people who are to all intensive purposes strangers but have been kind enough to donate in memory of my little boy, and this has really touched me.
Poole hospital tried so hard to save Teddy's life after we found him not breathing at home, whilst they sadly were unable to save him, their skills allowed him to be baptised before he grew wings, something which brings me comfort.
For those that dont know Ted was born 8 weeks early (Endless thanks to Dorchester Hospital Im fundraising for them as well via my 'real life' friends) and was very poorly indeed, we thought we were going to lose him in those early days, we had a real rollercoaster but after 46 days in SCBU he finally came home fully breast fed only for him to grow wings just 12 days later due to bronchial pneumonia.
My heartfelt thanks for looking at this site, by raising money to help other children I feel that his tiny life has been for something, that he has left some footprints on the world.
much love
Little Snowdrop
The world may never notice
If a Snowdrop doesn't bloom,
Or even pause to wonder
If the petals fall too soon.
But every life that ever forms,
Or ever comes to be,
Touches the world in some small way
For all eternity.
The little boy we longed for
Was swiftly here and gone.
But the love that was then planted
Is a light that still shines on.
And though our arms are empty,
Our hearts know what to do.
Every beating of our hearts
Says that we love you.
