Thank you for coming to visit my page! I am raising money for the Wallace and Gromit Children's Foundation, a charity which supports sick children in UK hospitals and hospices.
On 29th June I will be cycling from London to Paris, 300 miles in 4 days. This might sound like a jolly trip, but when you think about it this means 70-80 miles each day which will be about 8 hours on a bike saddle...ouch.
I am cycling with a team of 8 others from work (Nutricia) and we have been fortunate to have had a contribution towards the event which covers the accommodation etc, so any fundraising money goes straight to the Wallace and Gromit Children's Foundation.
In addition to fundraising online, we are running events at work to raise money, including a car wash, sporting events and lots of activities on 'Wrong Trouser's Day' (Friday 24th June).
For more information see: http://www.wallaceandgromitfoundation.org/about/
I have also started a blog site so you can see what I'm up to in the run up to the ride and I hope to be able to post on this during the ride: www.mybigbikeride.wordpress.com
Now for the serious bit...donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
So please dig deep and donate now.
