Story
Three mountains, 24 hours, one challenge!
When I climbed Kilimanjaro in October last year I wanted to follow up with a challenge closer to home but equally as tough. This time myself and Team Russ: John, Pete and Adrian have kindly agreed to help the charity by climbing 10,000ft in 24 hours and making our way from Ben Nevis in Scotland through to Scafell Pike in England and finally finishing at Snowdon in Wales in the classic 24 hour 3 peak challenge.
Team Russ plus 2 drivers will be taking on this physical and demanding challenge for the Russell King Memorial fund, a fund set up by our family to mark the life of a very special son and brother.
We may feel things are tough here right now but spare a thought for children who have previously lived without the love and guidance of an adult in their lives, something every child should be given. Help them access services like health and education which they cannot do on their own. This is the work of Streetchild Africa who help street children access these basic rights in some of the world's poorest countries.
