4 make it safely back (2 get a no jump again!)

Thanks so much to Christie, Adam, Andy and Ruth who managed their jump on Saturday 19th - the weather held out and all went really well. Rachel and Dave got another no jump on Sunday so it'll be their fourth attempt on 11th Dec!

***************************************************************************

The story so far...

You may have heard that on 22nd October our fantastic team didn't manage to jump due to high winds boo! The lovely Rachel and David attempted again this weekend but this time the rain stopped play. All the team have rebooked for other dates so don't worry they'll still be jumping but it's going to be a struggle to get good weather this late in the year so some have opted for early 2012 and others are seeing how it goes in Nov! So...this means sponsorship is still open! Watch this space for more jump related details and news about the team...

Thanks!

***************************************************************************

3 DAYS TO GO!!!

The countdown continues! The nerves are starting to rise - the team are leaving Manchester at 6.45am on Saturday in order to be at the drop zone at 8. They'll get some basic training, kitted out in their jumpsuits and then it's be up up and away...

Plenty of time left to sponsor them so don't delay!

****************************************************************************

4 DAYS TO GO!!!

So the weather forecast for the weekend is out and it's looking dry but overcast and a little bit chilly - lets just hope the rain stays away so they jump nice and early!

Thanks for your continued support we really appreciate your donations!

***************************************************************************

6 DAYS TO GO!!

Only 6 days to go until our intrepid team take to the Lancashire skies. The weather forecast isn't looking great but we're hoping for some clear weather for a good jump for all of them.

Please don't forget to sponsor them as we make a last push before the big jump!

SEPT 21 UPDATE: With just over 5 weeks to go donations are looking good but here are a few more reasons why you should donate:

We go to where young people are!

a) Schools - N-Gage are regularly working in 5 schools across Greater Manchester giving young people continued opportunities to work through their behavior and outlook to help them realise their potential and abilities

b) Local parks and streets - We are working with Greater Manchester Police to be out on the streets of South Manchester meeting with young people, giving advice and providing activities that reduce anti-social behavior

Please donate to help us continue to support these great young people!

********************************************************************************************

SEPT 7 UPDATE: 2 more team members added! We've just signed up Chair of Trustees Andy Eadie and keen volunteer Ruth Bromley to join our skydiving team. They're aiming to raise loads of money for the work of N-Gage. Please see below for more deatils...

***************************************************************************

Last year N-gage CEO Christie Spurling jumped out of a plane! This year he's doing it again with some friends...

Please support Christie, Adam, Rachel and David as they prepare for the jump, get over their nerves and launch themselves into the Lancashire Skies!

It's all just been booked so we have a way to go before the big day so keep looking back here as we post team updates.

N-gage is an innovative award winning organisation that seeks to bring out the best in Manchesters young people, particularly those at risk of exlusion from school.

Combining schools sessions, detached youth work, community action projects, creative sessions and running a youth centre in Benchill, N-Gage provides a fantastic support to young people to help them reach their full potential.
