Why Samantha Dickson Brain Tumour Trust?
The Samantha Dickson Brain Tumour Trust was selected as our chosen charity after it was suggested by one of our team members, Alec. Back in late 2007, after experiencing a variety of symptons, Alec's father Nick was diagnosed with a Grade VI Glioma. The brain tumour was terminal, and after a brave battle with the disease Nick sadly passed away in January 2009. Alec and his family have since been raising money to promote the charity, that funds vital research into treatments whilst also offering support to brain tumour sufferers and their families.

The Challenge:
The National 3 Peaks challenge involves climbing the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales (Ben Nevis, Scarfell Pike, Snowden) with a combined elevation of 3,407m, seperated by a 941 mile drive. We'll be walking for a total of 13hrs, crossing challenging terrain and with little sleep, all in aid of the Samantha Dickson Brain Tumour Trust, click on the link below for more information.
Please give generously! We've organised this challenge on a shoe string budget so we can pay expenses ourselves, which means all money raised goes to charity!
