Hey guys, as some of you know I am in the finals for Miss Preston 2011. As part of the competition I am raising money for the charity The North West Variety Club. It's a great charity which provides extra help for young people who need it.

I am aiming to raise £200 and more for the charity by walking around 20 miles from Preston to Blackpool with my friend Liam Doyle. We'll be starting the walk at the crack of dawn and finish early evening. The walk will go ahead weather permitting (given the weather we're having at the moment I think the odds are in our favour).
