Transplant Sport is a registered charity whose main aim is to raise awareness of the need for organ donation. We organise sports and social events for transplant recipients to improve health and well being whilst actively promoting organ donation.

Story

Hi my name is Naomi Smith. i had a liver transplant when i was 16 months old due to a liver disease called Biliary Atresia.

I have been really interested in sport all my life. I compete at the British Transplant game for my hospital. In 2006 i got selected to compete for the United Kingdom in the 2007 world transplant games in Thailand. i came back with 3 golds and 2 silvers. Again i have been lucky yo have been selected for the 2009 world transplant games in Australia. I am a very hard training athlete who would like a career in sport further on in the future. In order for me to go to the world transplant games i need to raise this money by myself. I get no funding at all. So i hope you will help me to reach the target. Thank you for all your donations!

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Transplant Sport UK gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
