As most of you will probably know by now I'm running the London Marathon this April and as I was lucky enough to get a ballot place I am able to raise money for a charity of my choosing. I wanted to choose a charity that would mean something to me personally. My mum died of breast cancer in 2002 and I've been wanting to do something in her memory ever since so this was the perfect opportunity. During her many years of treatment and operations she was looked after by a fantastic team of doctors and surgeons who run a breast cancer research unit/team at the Hammersmith Hospital in London. Any donation you feel able to give would help to give something back to the people that helped her and also be of benefit to others that suffer with breast cancer. Thank you so much, diolch yn fawr.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It's also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Charitable funds of Charing Cross, Hammersmith and Queen Charlotte's Hospitals gets your money faster and, if you're a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now!
