My story

I will be running in the London Marathon on 25 April, 2010 in memory of my son Joe (4PARA) who was killed in Afghanistan, June 24, 2008.

Joe's sister, Kate, will be joining the Parachute Regiment Band after Easter 2010 after her Passing Out Parade from the Royal Military School of Music.

Joe was proud to be a Paratrooper and I am again raising money for the Parachute Regiment Charity (formerly Airborne Forces Charities). One of its most vital roles lies in providing assistance to those who are wounded in service.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
