Story
5 guys...3000 miles...6 days...1 van valued at £95. This is Staples2Naples 2005!
Paul Borge, Adam Barber, Carl Smith, Chima Ojukwu and Lee Washington are risking life, limb and sanity from 22 September 2005 in aid of the Christina Noble Childrens Foundation.
Our mission is to reach Naples in one piece, completing our daily objectives and, on the final day of the rally, dressing up as Clint Eastwood. While other competitors will be racing via the motorways and tunnels to reach our destination, this team will be doing it the hard way - A roads and mountain passes. Likewise, while most competitors will dump their vehicles in Naples and fly back to the UK, we'll be turning round and doing it all over again!
In honour of our idiocy, we're asking friends and family to donate to CNCF. CNCF is an International Partnership of people dedicated to serving children in need of emergency and long-term medical care, nutritional rehabilitation, educational opportunities, vocational training, job placement and the protection of children at risk of economic and sexual exploitation. The Foundation seeks to maximize the potential of each child. This is accomplished within the context of the family and the community whenever possible and always with love and respect for the dignity of each child as an individual.
More information is available from www.cncf.org Thanks very much for helping us.
