Story
Here at the NAS we have decided it is time to put our onesies to good use – and what better way to do so than to raise awareness for people with autism through our very first Onesie Wednesday™!
On Wednesday 29 May, NAS staff and volunteers throughout the country will be wearing their onesies to work (including the commute!) to raise both awareness and funds for the NAS.
You can show your support by joining us in holding your own Onesie Wednesday or by donating towards our target. All donations are very welcome, no matter how large or small.
Autism is more common than people think - over half a million people in the UK have the lifelong disability - that’s around 1 in 100 people. The laws of probability mean that this is likely to include someone that we all know, or love or care for. However, although autism is a serious and lifelong condition with the right help and support people with the disability can fulfil their potential. Join in Onesie Wednesday to help break down barriers and ensure that autism remains on the agenda.
On behalf of everyone at the National Autistic Society, thank you for your support!
