I will be running the North York Moors Half Marathon on Saturday 4th May 2013 for an amazing charity .. Target Ovarian Cancer which works to save lives and help those diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer. 

Currently 7000 women are diagnosed with ovarian cancer every year and of those 4300 lose their lives. The UK currently has the lowest ovarian cancer survival rates in Europe.

Personally, cancer has affected the lives of my closest friends and family who have lost their loved ones and are currently coping with family members undergoing treatment.
